POSITION OVERVIEW

Greensboro Radiology is seeking a fellowship trained Breast Imager to support our growing practice in central North Carolina. All aspects of breast imaging including screening exams are interpreted solely within the breast section in our highly subspecialized model. Some position details include:

• Heavy concentration in dedicated breast imaging including ultrasound, stereo and MRI guided breast biopsies
• A collaborative environment with the local surgeons, pathologists and oncologists
• Partnership track
• Monday through Friday breast imaging only
• Only 4-5 Saturdays per year for breast imaging weekend appointment coverage
• Overnight call is not required.

Greensboro Radiology is a highly subspecialized private practice group with 85+ radiologists providing patient care to multiple heath systems and imaging centers throughout central North Carolina. As we continue to grow, we are in search of a highly skilled Breast Imager to join our team!

The Greensboro Radiology mission is to lead radiology excellence through personalized and compassionate care. We have demonstrated this commitment to quality and service by implementing a single PACS/voice recognition environment throughout the areas we serve (our regional timeline). This unified radiology platform employs a subspecialty workflow solution and dedicated emergency radiology section to deliver subspecialty care around the clock and supports our radiologists with 24/7 concierge reading room assistants and strong IT support.

Requirements

DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Candidates must be a Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy

Residency trained, ACGME Accredited Diagnostic Radiology Program

ABR Board-certified/board-eligible

Completed a one-year post-residency fellowship training in Breast Imaging

MQSA Certified

Proficient and Comfortable with the following:

• 3-D Mammography
• Diagnostic breast MRI and Ultrasound
• Ultrasound, MRI and Stereo Guided Biopsies and Aspirations

Preferred licensure in North Carolina
